Jackie and Josiah Gray Wedding

I've done a few weddings and one of the first was for my friend, Jackie, who got married on December 27th, 2009. I met her through one of my best friends, Ashley, who was kind enough to take some photos of the ladies. It's always fun doing makeup for friends, and this was no exception! The first through third pictures are of Jackie, and the last are of Ashley, Jackie, and Kelly! I used airbrush foundation on Jackie, for a flawless finish to the skin.

Photoshoot with Mikey Kay and my best friend!

Those of you that know me personally will likely know this beautiful face as my best friend, Shauna. Her boyfriend, Mikey Kay, is an amazing photographer in the Chicago area that I have had the pleasure of working with many times. I came to him in the summer ot 2010 and requested to do a photoshoot with him and Shauna so I could have more portfolio shots. If you are wondering, she has a tooth crystal on one of her teeth, so it is not food ;).
I wanted to do three versatile looks, so I opted for a pin-up style red lip and winged liner, a natural look (perfect for weddings) with some gold tones, and a smokey and sultry look. I also did some quick hairstyling on the last shot to fit the look.

These are some makeup looks I did with TRIO Salon over the summer of 2010. The first and second looks were done by me, and the last two were collaborations with the AMAZINGLY talented Kelly La Banco, who has worked with many celebrities. She is an inspiration and I have learned a lot from her, not to mention she is hilarious (follow her twitter!). The photographer was Mark Doddato, who is a talented Chicago-based photographer.
